Quick question on rate of reaction...?

1,3-butadiene dimerises in a second order reaction:

2C4H6(g) -%26gt; C8H12(g)

The rate equation is therefore rate=k(pressure C4H6)squared

The value for k is 3150.

An initial pressure of 0.83 Pa is observed. After 25minutes, this drops to 0.72Pa. What are the mole fractions of 1,3-butadiene and the dimer C8H12 after 25mins ?

Quick question on rate of reaction...?

It depends what mole fractions you started with.

Your question is unanswerable.
